My Impromptu Trip to NYC to See Wendy Williams!

Wendy Williams

How’ You Doin’ My impromptu Trip to see Wendy Williams!

It all started one day when I got this text…

Lil sis: Hey sis guess what!?

Me: What?

Lil sis: I randomly wrote the Wendy Williams Show and told them how much of a fan you were,

sent in a pic of us and we just won tickets to her show!!!!

Me: Drops phone and scream! OMG!

I’ve always been a huge fan of the Wendy Williams Show.

From the production quality, Hot Topics, interviews etc…. this is my go to show to watch everyday.

So you can imagine my excitement when I found out I would have the opportunity to view a live taping of the show!

Fast forward… We book our flights and hotel and we are headed off the Wendy Williams Show!

We flew in the night before to ensure we could get in line bright and early the day of the show.

We arrived to the show around 7am and stood in line for about an hour. Luckily the weather was rather pleasant,

and the line included a food truck with breakfast items and coffee. The staff was super prompt and professional.

They made sure they got around to everyone to ensure that we all received what we needed

(tickets, instructions, etc.).

Once we were let in, we lined up to be ushered into a waiting room with water, coffee and chairs.

We received a pen, paper and a clipboard from one of the staff members to submit questions

for the “Ask Wendy” segment. Once they received the questions that they needed they lined us up and took us

upstairs to the studio. The studio is a lot smaller than it looks on TV. They arranged everyone around playing body

musical chairs and we eventually sat down in our permanent seats. Wendy has a love for

jaw dropping fashion and attending a live taping is definitely your opportunity to dress to impress.

The hype man and DJ had us full of energy and made the experience like a party!

The show is like a well-oiled machine. Everything is timed to a T.

The crowd participants were great. We were truly like Wendy’s co-host.

Most of all, Wendy was excellent at interacting with the audience and taking

the time to introduce herself to guests.

My 48-hour trip to New York was definitely worth it.

I’m looking forward to my next trip to New York to do it again!
