Brown Boys Lemonade Encourages Early Entrepreneurship

The Brown Boys Lemonade

When life gives you lemons you make lemonade!

I’m Alyse Hope and the uplifting news this week is about two young entrepreneurs Anthony and Ja’Den Anderson owners of The Brown Boys Lemonade.

10-year-old Anthony Anderson wanted his parents to buy him a video game that cost $100. His parents told him they would purchase the video game if he came up with half of the money.

After brainstorming with his family, Anthony decided to open up a lemonade stand, outside of a local business in his hometown of Atlanta.  After two weeks of being open Anthony made over $200. He then decided to allow his six-year-old brother Ja’Den, to join in the fun, creating their business TheBrown Boys Lemonade.

Anthony and Ja’Den’s goal is to create a network of business owners under the age of 18 that will shift the future of our Black and Brown communities.

Way to go young men! Keep up the good work!
