Denim, Diamonds & Pearls
In today’s post, I wanted to reiterate my love for denim jackets (especially embellished ones) and make my case for why they are my favorite spring and fall staple.
Denim jackets have always been a staple in my closet for the longest time. It’s a piece that I reach for quite frequently (no matter the season) and especially during the fall time of the year. Going from summer to fall in Dallas, TX means that it’s quite warm during the day but tends to get chilly at night, and that’s where denim jackets come into play! I love denim jackets because they go with everything imaginable, from dresses to sweaters, cute skirts and boots. They are equally appealing with; distressed jeans, leather pants, and the list can go on and on. What I look for in a denim jacket is the fit and that special “wow” factor that makes a plain denim jacket a bit of a showstopper!
Currently, that “wow” factor I can’t seem to get enough of is diamonds and pearls, like this jacket from SHEIN. I mean let’s be honest, who would have thought that casual denim and classic pearls and diamonds would be so compelling together and yet they work?! This particular combination of dress up and casual complements each other in the perfect way and makes this denim closet staple feel fresh and new again.
