Sunday Funday! Brunching at Poor Calvin’s

Brunch

I recently went to Atlanta for a little sister’s (Briana) birthday and we decided to brunch at Poor Calvin’s!

I was super excited to go. I’ve heard some amazing things about this place.

The atmosphere is very intimate and cozy. The staff is super friendly. They have great cocktails and artistic dishes.

For the appetizer we ordered: Seafood Spring Rolls with hoisin sauce, Lobster Macaroni &

Cheese and Beignet Basket with berry compote, mascarpone cheese, goat cheese.

For the entree I ordered: Egg Benedict – Jumbo lump crab cake, poached egg, kale mashed potato, hollandaise.

My other brunch companions got…

*Chicken and Sweet Potato Waffle: Buttermilk fried chicken, whipped mascarpone cheese, fresh fruits.

*Lobster Fried Rice: Eggs, vegetables, tempura lobster tail.

*Shrimp, Cajun Sausage & Cheese GA Grits: Fried egg, Thai curry.

The presentation for all of the food was absolutely beautiful,

but most important the food was great and the service was spectacular.

All in all I  thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Poor Calvin’s and look forward to visiting again.

Just a few suggestions: I would highly recommend you make a reservation and

Uber/Lyft if you can due to the lack of parking.
